Enda must leave his 'county' behind

Like most people, I cast my vote for badly needed changes, particularly the complete abolition of parish-pump politics.
So it was in complete dismay that I watched and listened to Taoiseach-elect Enda Kenny state passionately: "I am proud to have the support of my people, my county and my party."
Yesterday, outgoing junior minister Martin Mansergh said of a decimated Fianna Fail: "We get the country right and then the party."
