@NoelBallantyne we are over here in Ireland. We're paying the banks in taxes and they're putting up our mortgage rates over ECB rates @the ECI Trich-et shows velvet glove with Portugal move

@plegrain In Spain, where >90pc of mortgages tied to short-term interest rates, 0.75 pt rise in ECB rates this yr wd add €1,000 to average mortgage payment
