Easier ways to earn high wage

Congratulations to Steve Rayner on becoming the Apprentice and battling for 13 weeks to get a salary of €100,000.
Would it not have been easier though to join Bord Gais and get a salary of €80,000 on average by doing little or nothing?
Or he could join Irish Rail and get paid €57,000 for apologising in an insincere manner for the heating on trains being set in Dublin or for there being no food on board.
Well done, Steve, but I am sure you will work hard for your money with Bill Cullen in charge.
A lot harder than those in the semi-state companies we pay too much for.
