Early intervention in speech defects

THE article 'Time to talk: children's speech development' (Irish Independent, 25/01/2011) was very important because the issue of child speech problems does not receive a lot of attention in the press. In terms of stammering, many diverse theories exist, but all experts agree that early intervention with a speech therapist is a must.
I would like to point out an excellent resource for parents of children who stammer -- the Stuttering Foundation's website www.stammeringhelp.org.
