Don't undermine speed cameras

What use is it introducing mobile speed cameras if the vans are marked and An Garda Siochana publishes their locations? By telling people where they are, they are telling them where they are not!
It is quite true that this will deter speeding at these locations.
But assuming each of the 600 locations covers about 200 yards, this means that for 99.9pc of the Irish road network of 100,000km, you can be assured that you can drive as fast as you like with impunity.
