Don't mention war

•With the revelation that our export figures dropped 10pc last July, it would appear that the only hopes of an economic recovery have been taken down by the difficulties in the rest of the world.

This, if anything, shows our desperate need to improve our domestic industries. Of course, our military business ties with Germany are picking up, with €10m in exports last year. We'd better not mention the war then.
