Don't forget to write to Santa

WARM greetings from the North Pole to you and to all your dear readers!

Please remind all the boys and girls to post their letters to me as soon as possible so that Mrs Claus, the elves and I can start packing the toys and gifts on the sleigh for my big journey on Christmas Eve.

I love reading the letters from the children in Ireland, particularly when they have taken the time to write the letters themselves.

So all they need do is post their letter to: Santa Claus, The North Pole.

It's as simple as that. And Santa's many helpers in An Post will make sure they receive a reply from me just before Christmas.

But it is important that they get writing straight away, and that they include their name and full address, written very clearly.

There's no need for a stamp, but if you have one handy, feel free to stick one on.

The kind people at An Post have been helping with my replies for more than 20 years, despite it being their busiest time of year.

So won't you be good now and please ask them to get writing those letters?

I'm off to start making a list which I'll be checking over the next few weeks . . .
