Dean did it all without Nama

Sir -- When the ill-advised polluters of our national values have passed on to a warmer place, perhaps readers of your fine editorials may discover the integrity of Dean Robert McCarthy's public espousal of the principles of political and Christian protocols.
In the meantime, a visit to St Patrick's Cathedral may illustrate to your scribes how the medieval architecture of that national treasure has been maintained under the Dean's stewardship -- without the comfort of Nama or football sponsorship.
But most telling of all has been the anonymity of the Dean in the furtherance of that project.
