BY the account published in the Irish Independent (June 18), Fingal county manager David O'Connor has given incorrect information to councillors on key aspects of the proposal to extend the DART to Dublin Airport.

His claim that journey times from the airport to the city centre by DART would take 44 minutes is demonstrably false.

Current journey times from Clongriffin to Dublin city centre are 17 minutes -- add an extension to the airport, and this is comfortably achievable in under 25 minutes.
