Cutting demand for cocaine is key

Kevin Myers said all that needed to be said about Gerry Ryan and cocaine use very eloquently and with searing clarity (Irish Independent, December 15).

But mere words of condemnation will not do. Cocaine and other less lethal drugs are a question of supply and demand. The only, and most obvious and effective, remedy to stop the problem is not to take them.
