Crisis over . . . April fools . . . Meanness . . . Drink

The jobs crisis is solved. We are all working for the banks and will be employed for life. And because of the dire state of their "accounting" they won't even have to pay us. Bill Cullen must be beaming.

  • I read through the paper on Thursday trying to identify the April Fool's story. It might have been Benitez claiming there was little difference between the Champions League and Europa Cup, the rugby headline, 'Scrum guru has faith in Irish push' or 'Cowen admits failing to connect with the voters'. But I've decided it has to be 'Passport Office staff will be able to recoup lost wages'.
