Crazy, mixed-up world of football

ISN'T it amazing that a few years ago the Irish sporting public stood in silence to observe the British national anthem in the hallowed grounds of Croke Park.

The other night in the Aviva, 'God Save The Queen', when played for Northern Ireland, was loudly booed and shouted down by "No, not us".

Needless to say 'Flower of Scotland' got the same treatment.
