Court wind-up is a bit rich

It's a bit rich that the High Court, which spends most of its time protecting companies from liquidators, is now going hell for leather to wind them up.
The difference in the current climate is that the numbers are far too high, and it is far from convenient to throw them a lifeline when the creditors are looking for blood.
For years the superior courts have lavished companies with all kinds of protection to get them out of trouble, extending them every grace you can imagine and turning a blind eye in some cases.
