Court action over passport delays

I AM shocked at the contempt with which CPSU staff have treated an already suffering general public. Many victims of this abuse have made the point that they have a constitutional right to be issued with a passport in reasonable time.

I can understand that no one individual would be prepared to sue the Government for losses suffered or seek a High Court order of mandamus forcing passport issuance, but wouldn't it be a great step forward if a class action could be brought, funded by donations from the general public?

Despite being a UK passport holder, I would give generously, as, I'm sure, would the vast majority of decent citizens who have been sickened by this abject cynicism.
