Couldn't even plan their own escape

Kevin Myers wrote the following in August concerning the Metro North project: "At no point does the Stephen's Green scheme touch reality in terms of the commercial needs of an already crippled city centre, the actual transport requirements of airline passengers or what is financially possible for the Irish State."

I wholeheartedly agree, and could see no merit in the plan from the point of view of public transportation.

But then I realised, the Metro is not for the public -- it's for the Government.
