Coughlan's pique has cost Irish jobs

IT IS a disgrace that Irish jobs have been lost to Scotland ('Coughlan under fire as 300 hi-tech jobs on the line', Irish Independent, February 15).

Obviously, Michael O'Leary didn't receive a Valentine's Day card from the Government.

The arrogant remarks of Tanaiste Mary Coughlan clearly show her unwillingness to co-operate with Mr O'Leary's proposals, but she hadn't a problem with Rody Molloy's outrageous redundancy packet.
