Commitment to peace is absent
Niall Ginty writes in support of Israel, "Territorial disputes are solvable if there is a will to do so" (Letters, August 23).
How true that is. Can Mr Ginty explain how Israel's continued settlement expansion in the West Bank is evidence of a will for peace?
This involves expropriation of Palestinian land and restriction of Palestinian movement. But in his glowing appraisal of Israel Mr Ginty makes no mention of this.
