Coalition is a washout
Sir -- In the mid-1960s, while living in the US, I was drafted into the army. Among many things I learned was how to make my bunk properly. Saturday was laundry day and recruits washed the sheets and 'flipped the mattress'.
And what a difference this made. With no great expense other than a cup of washing powder and 25 cents in the washer, one felt that one was sleeping in a new bed.
Which brings me to the reason for this letter.
