Climate claims need evidence
In response to Michael Job (Letters, March 6), I think labelling people as climate-change deniers is rather unhelpful, because of the obvious connotations of that word.
The climate system is complex and I don't claim to be an expert on it. But the extraordinary claims of the green lobby demand extraordinary evidence.
They claim that adding a few extra parts per million of carbon dioxide will lead to runaway global warming, when we know that CO2 levels have been much, much higher in the past due to natural fluctuations.
