Clamp down on rogue clampers

ROGUE car clampers have absolutely no authority whatsoever to ground cars, whether they are illegally parked or not.
What they are doing amounts to interference with private property and they could be sued for it.
Only operators that are given a franchise by a local authority are allowed to clamp vehicles. Rogue clampers may also be committing fraud by demanding that the driver of clamped vehicles pay a release fee.
