Choosing hounds over humans

In reply to Mark O'Brien ('No more nights at the dogs', Letters, March 29), right so, ban greyhound racing. In doing so tens of thousand of jobs will be lost. There are 20 tracks in Ireland, employing thousands.

You decide. Is it greyhounds or humans? I'd love to see Mark O'Brien tell all the employees and breeders that their livelihoods will be wiped out.

What next? There's not a word about racehorses because there is simply too much at stake, yet hundreds of horses get put down also.
