Child protection is now paranoia

The GAA recently released a statement forbidding juvenile mentors from sending group text messages to anyone under the age of 18.

Many mentors have also been advised to refrain from driving any underage player home after a training session unless there is another person in the vehicle.

All these precautions are being taken as a result of one main factor -- paranoia.
