Check data from speed cameras

THERE has been an increase in road-related fatalities this year compared with last year. While it might be too early to do meaningful comparisons, it is worrying that the deployment of private speed cameras has not had the anticipated results.
Instead of spinning a behaviour argument, we must ask are the cameras located in the correct areas, how many tickets are being generated and at what times are offences occurring?
Then cross-match these statistics against the location and time of the fatalities to better understand the weakness of these results.
