- Like Des Groome of the Kildare Chamber of Commerce (Letters, January 4), I too want to see those responsible for the banking sector's actions held accountable. However, Mr Groome seems happy with the old Irish way of another talk-talk inquiry show for those who may have committed crimes.
It seems inconceivable under the present Government that the Department of Justice will bring criminal charges against Ireland's white-collar criminals.
