Callely's carry-on points out home truths
THE cracks in Ivor Callely's armour began a long time ago when he was fired by former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern over the infamous paint job affair on his house.
Now it appears he is doing a lot of explaining in relation to his expense account, which he receives directly from the taxpayer.
Like all the other chancers who have appeared before scrutiny committees, inadequate replies have been given to very serious questions and no answers at all in some cases, just a dogmatic statement that reads: "I feel I have done nothing wrong."
