Calculating the odds on plan

Sir -- Could the Government find the funds from somewhere to supply every household with a 14-digit calculator (like the euro converter scheme in 2001) to assist anyone trying to fathom its calculations in its National Recovery Plan 2011-2014. Anyone who has tried to trawl through the 140 pages of this report will realise that the standard eight-digit calculator is simply not adequate for the job.
The eye-watering figures in this report are a damning indictment of where this administration's policies have got us to today.
In the meantime, to anyone who intends to try to comprehend the content of the 140-page National Recovery Plan 2011-2014, might I suggest having ample stocks of Kleenex at hand. Because if it doesn't bring a tear to your eye, it will quite likely give you a nose bleed.
