Bring back Bertie

•I note with interest that NAMA has given some of Ireland's developers salaries of up to €200,000 per annum to manage their property portfolios. The argument goes that these people know more about their business than anybody else.
If this argument is valid, maybe we should get Bertie Ahern, Brian Cowen and Charlie McCreevy back to "run" the country. It might also be a good idea to get Sean FitzPatrick and David Drumm back to run Anglo. They might be the ideal pair to get credit going again in the economy, since they were so good at it previously.
There are lots of good bankers from many of the banks, such as AIB, Bank of Ireland, and so on, who did just as "good" a job as many of these developers. Maybe, we should bring these back also.
