Boy racers are not the problem

I READ with interest both sides of the reaction to the latest crackdown against the mythical 'boy racers'.

Indeed, if grumpy middle-aged men can still find them to persecute, fair play. I have seen very few on our roads since the recession hit.

Those who vilify the youth are not only doing the majority of modified-car enthusiasts a disservice, they are also doing the issue of safety a disservice.
