Boxing the thicks or ticking the boxes?

• Isn't the simple fact of the matter that the Government is able to squeeze the 'poor' and the 'struggling middle class' because, despite all their whingeing about childcare costs or negative equity, they never actually manage to get past their indignation and do something about it.

Unlike, for example, the pensioners who at least had the guts to stand up for what they felt they were entitled to.

As long as the Government never has to face the direct anger of people, and this doesn't mean the utterly pointless exercise of smashing windows or damaging property, it will never face up to the hard decisions required to get our economy growing -- the biggest of which is domestic debt forgiveness, and will certainly never have to start tackling waste from the top down.
