Boo to Roses’ non-performance

I AM writing this to try and focus some of the anger I feel at Guns N’ Roses’ non-performance in the O2 last night. Despite the late arrival on stage, I was delighted to once again see my favourite band of 19 years perform.

I must admit I was a little anxious after the threat to walk off following the first song of the night, but my devotion to the band assuaged that feeling as the second and third songs played.

While I learned this morning that the gombeen himself was cajoled into returning to the stage, I had already been advised by staff in the venue that the concert was in fact finished, after waiting over half an hour in the hopes that it would continue.
