Blind to Syria

• The horrific slaughter of the innocents continues in Syria by the day. Coverage on TV is sporadic, to say the least. The newspapers do help to make us aware, to some extent, of the scale of the carnage. But little is happening to stop it. It seems that Russia and China are the stumbling blocks to ending the carnage.

Can I appeal to your readers to join with me in contacting the embassies of Russia and China and begging them to convey to their governments our heartfelt dismay at the position they hold which permits the murder of blameless women and children.

At least we can try.
