Bishop Magee must answer his critics

Bishop John Magee retains the title Bishop of Cloyne even though governance of the diocese passed to the Apostolic Administrator in March 2009.

Two weeks have elapsed since the Cloyne Report was published and Bishop Magee has made no comment about, nor acknowledged, the findings which have angered the nation. This investigation covered 13 of the 22 years Bishop Magee was in charge.

He presumably continues to be remunerated from the voluntary donations of the people of the diocese.
