Biding time to inflict poll pain

Since the Fianna Fail-led banking/property implosion of September 2008 we have had more than our fair share of political bloodletting.
The Cowen/Lenihan double act of softening us up for the coming Budget tells us that there is even worse pain on the way. I have come to the stage that I just want to inflict some.
The political bloodletting that a general election would facilitate is needed to enable us to face our pain.
