Bankers' pensions should be targeted
So the National Pension Reserve Fund has been 'invested' in the banks. Just like the other 'investments' this money won't be coming back.
When Ireland came looking for a bailout the IMF and EU said: "Use your nest egg before we loan you any more." It's tough but they are representing their interests.
We should follow their example and insist the banks put their company pension funds into their banks. And insist the private pension funds of all bank executives are 'invested' back into their banks. After all, they are the only ones in Ireland benefiting from this rescue, they are still in employment, and their pensions should be just as much at risk as public pensions.
