• The country is caught between the proverbial rock and a hard place. Another bailout will put us into a permanent blackout, yet we would sink immediately without temporary bailouts.
Maybe this is what pro-Lisbon parties had in mind three years ago? Instead of spewing forth the usual rhetoric about jobs in future referendums, politicians should instead tell us how the austerity we suffer has reduced our national debt.
I hate to admit it, but it might be advisable to ignore personal, and justifiable, feelings of anger towards Fine Gael in future referendums and instead focus on getting what suits us.
