Anti-Coughlan slant is unfair

There are two things I have in common with our Education Minister Mary Coughlan. The first, we are both female, and the second, we are both from Donegal.
I have noticed that since Ms Coughlan was appointed by Brian Cowen to the position of Tanaiste she has been subjected to a lot of unfair treatment by both the public and the media regarding her professional ability to carry out her duties.
When she was Enterprise, Trade and Employment Minister -- despite the fact that there is a global recession -- she was accused on a daily basis for failing to do her job by not creating more employment or securing more contracts from international companies to locate in Ireland.
