All ministers bear responsibility

Personalising the problems that beset this country on to the shoulders of the Taoiseach alone, as your editorial does (Irish Independent, November 9), is missing the point of how a democracy works.
Surely the operation of our democratic system meant that the policies and decisions, which have contributed to our present difficulties, were decided upon by all ministers in Cabinet.
That democratic process also ensured they were voted through the Dail by a majority of its members.
