Alcohol . . . Rugby tackle . . .Losers . . . Eddie's future
I know what happened the Irish rugby team.
Alcohol is to blame -- but not its consumption.
I spotted a large Heineken advert depicting the team trying to push Doheny and Nesbitt's pub across to Paris.
It's a pity they didn't get the French lads to push the Moulin Rouge over here.
At least if they did, it might have provided us with better high kicks and entertainment.

Note for all you real men of Irish rugby. It took a woman from RTE to ask George W Bush an awkward question.
Now a woman from TV3 has tackled Eddie O'Sullivan head on!

The Irish World Cup effort has been an abject failure.
Losses to France and Argentina in Paris can always be excused. But the performances against Namibia and Georgia cannot be excused.
Eddie O'Sullivan ought not to be the arbiter of his future as Ireland's coach.

Eddie O'Sullivan seemed surprised, even shocked, when asked by a TV reporter, after the nightmare in Paris on Sunday, if he intended to resign.
What's certain is that the vast majority of the Irish rugby fraternity will be shocked if he is still in charge of the National XV when the competitive international season recommences.
His bizarre selection policy coupled with his infantile tactics, more than any other factor contributed to Ireland's failure to advance in the World Cup in France.
