Adams is an anachronism
Sir -- Gerry Adams, interviewed on RTE1 on Sunday, was making it all up as he went along with platitudes and improvised waffle: "good things are happening", "kick start the economy" and the vague "solidarity tax". Gerry, a man of property and book royalties will no doubt be contributing to this fund.
He also managed to say in the same breath that Sinn Fein would-but-would-not-be in coalition with Fianna Fail. The man is a dinosaur and a liability to his own party. Apart from that his background is a travesty of all that Republicanism should have stood for: mayhem, savagery and maiming of fellow Irish citizens.
