World sees us through green-tinted glasses
TAOISEACH Enda Kenny has always been an optimist -- a person disposed to take a favourable view of things.
But his reserves of positivity have been tested to the limit in the past fortnight. He had to swallow hard to congratulate the Donegal players who consigned his native Mayo to their sixth All-Ireland final defeat in a row. He got caught looking at his mobile phone during his meeting with the Pope.
And that's even before a mention of Health Minister James Reilly. But almost magically, Mr Kenny has risen above all this by ending up on the cover of 'Time' magazine.
