U2: better than the real thing

IT'S often said that no prophet is ever praised in his own country, but if the exception proves the rule we need look no further than Bono and his crew.

At a time when other rock 'n' rollers have taken up golf or have seen their greatness flicker, Dublin's Fab Four are as sharp and popular as ever.

This is a feat in itself considering the merciless way the ruthless big wheels of the notoriously fickle music industry turn.
