Still looking for answers Children's hospital row

It is the worst economic downturn the country has suffered in its history and, as a result, the search for answers is unlikely to abate any time soon.

This weekend economists from the public and private sectors are gathering in the Kerry town of Kenmare to discuss the origins of the crisis and where we go from here.

It is not just the economy they will be dissecting, but also the finer points of the Government's controversial banking policy. While the Kenmare Economic Conference is an annual event, this year's attendees will be gathering at a dangerous time for the economy and of course the banks.
