Real leadership sadly lacking

ONE month away from the most crucial Budget in the history of the State, a country on the brink of ruin watched in disbelief as the Taoiseach headed for Donegal to attend the selection of the Fianna Fail by-election candidate.

Social Protection Minister Eamon O Cuiv presided over the selection conference.

Have Mr O Cuiv, and Brian Cowen, nothing more pressing on their minds than the representation of Donegal South-West in the Dail?
