Nobody told BoI about the season of goodwill

IT might be the season of goodwill, but nobody has told Bank of Ireland.
Or perhaps somebody did, but they didn't care anyway.
Whatever the reason, the bank – which has reason to be very grateful to taxpayers – who bailed it out to the tune of €4.7bn – has been accused of hitting customers at the worst time of the year by hiking its credit card rates days ahead of Christmas.
