Greens and the tweeter teaser

The Green Party, or at any rate its chairman, seems to favour the tweeter teaser rather than megaphone diplomacy in communicating with the public and, probably deliberately, it does so at the expense of clarity.
Senator Dan Boyle raised another hare when he said on his notorious Twitter account that his party leader could leave cabinet "tomorrow" and followed up by confirming that the Greens are expecting to secure a second junior ministry in the forthcoming cabinet reshuffle.
On entering government, the Green Party secured an agreement that it would get a second junior minister mid-way through the life of the coalition, but this would seem to have been superseded by the Taoiseach's decision last year to reduce the number of junior ministers from 20 to 15.
