Drumm should face the music

Anglo Irish Bank was once dubbed the best bank in the world by a team of American "experts".

Three years after the blanket bank guarantee, one year after the EU-IMF bailout aimed at holding Ireland's shattered economy together, "worst bank in the world" would seem to most of us a better description.

This reality, however, appears to have been lost on its former chief executive, David Drumm, if one can judge from his interview in the 'Sunday Business Post' yesterday with the distinguished Irish-American journalist Niall O'Dowd.
