And here comes another Government report telling us Dublin is continuing to sprawl and somebody needs to do something about it.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Environment Minister Simon Coveney will launch the 'Ireland 2040' document, which starkly sets out the severe imbalance in the country's development.

At this stage, nearly half of all economic activity in the State is generated in Dublin and the capital's reach now extends into 11 counties.
