Appointments show Trump not mellowing

Any notion of Donald Trump mellowing in power would appear to be dispelled by the first round of appointments to the president-elect's administration.

After playing such a dominant role in his campaign, Republican Party veteran and Washington insider Reince Priebus was a predictable choice as his chief of staff in the White House.

The sensible move implies a desire to have a functioning relationship with the Grand Old Party and on Capitol Hill.
