Anglo row must not trip us up

When all conversations about our current economic plight come to their pivotal point, Anglo Irish Bank looms large. It is seen as central to all our economic woes and inextricably linked to our hopes of getting out of the mess.
Yesterday's half-year results will do little to lessen our apprehension.
By any standards they are appalling but we are so accustomed now to the word 'billions' that we are numbed to the true extent and implications of the debacle.
