IN times of normality, political commentators benchmark the performance of politicians based on an analysis of their first 100 days.
However, these are anything but normal days. After only their first day in business, Taoiseach Enda Kenny and his new coalition government is already facing stern scrutiny.
The fact that Mr Kenny chose to walk to work was duly noted as a step away from the old 'age of entitlement' -- another indication of which was the cutting of ministerial wages.
